Allright...last week...

Rand and Caelianna gave Collin a burial, persay. In the druidic tradition Collin was left above ground to give back to nature while Rand said priestly rites over him to keep him from coming back as the undead.

The group had to spend one more night in the farmhouse in which both Kyra and Toryn were present, but mentally absent or so it seemed. Sunfall was flat out not present.

Kyra: Pfft... can't a girl meditate these days?

The group decided to continue persuing the herd of winged horses in hopes to maybe find some clue as to Toryn's condition.

They travelled for the next week and a half, avoiding danger and griffons, until they found another, non-haunted/evil farmhouse where Farmer Bob allowed them into the barn for the night.

Before the full moon sets at it's highest peak, Sunfall falls from the roof into the room soaking wet. Rouge claims that he heard voices telling him that Sunfall is Bristlebane's son.

Stylixxt spends yet another night practising voodoo on toryn to bring him back out of his seemingly eternal depression

-> Rand: as the moon rises into the night's sky, you start feeling a prickly sensation on your skin. almost as if it were becoming too tight for your body.

Stylixxt: hmm his condition does not seem to be getting any better we must seriously consider the possibility of abandoning him

Rand starts scratching seriously, all over his body

Rouge: Why is that?

Toryn: With a roar, Toryn comes to, drawing his sword and backing up against the wall looking furiously over everyone's heads - he doesn't even appear to see the rest of you

Stylixxt jumps into a bail of straw hiding from the awakened demon

Toryn: " Get back demon ! " snarls Toryn looking straight over your heads, " I'm not one of you, never will be ! "

Sunfall turns to look at whatever Toryn is staring at

Rand looks up at Toryn, forgetting his itch for a second, then he continues scratching really hard

Caelianna jumps up on a bail of hay, startled.

Rand: "Kyra, could you scratch my back please" Rand asks

Toryn: Toryn slowly focuses on the others, shaking his head ... " How did I get here ? "

Kyra gives Rand an extremely rude gesture

Rand: "Please?" Rand begs

Stylixxt: two lidless eyes look out from a quivering bail of straw to see what the commotion is all about

Rand: "Or could you scratch me on the back Sty, please?" Rand begs

Toryn: Toryn idly starts scatching Rand on the back absent mindedly " That's some curse you're under Rand " mutters Toryn...

Stylixxt: ermmm sure rand what is the problem moves over to rand to scratch his back with clawed hands

Caelianna clears her throat, looking at Toryn

Sunfall: I think someone carried you Toryn, I'm not quite sure, I wasn't present... Now who in the world are you talking to? I don't see any demons

Stylixxt looks at toryn warily

Caelianna: We led you along with us...

Toryn: " They're.. not here ... " says Toryn slowly, " I'm back ... "

Rand starts to scratch even harder if this is at all possible

Vinnie looks at Caelianna,' sounds like u got something in your throat babe! Want me to check it out?'

Rouge finds the whole scratching routing disturbing

Toryn: Toryn shudders all over... " The Prince of Hate.. the one Aikira's father worships... I've been there ... "

-> Stylixxt: as you scratch rand, you start seeing some tuffs of fur growing on his exposed skin

Toryn: " He's trying to convince me I'm one of them... torturing me... trying to get me to admit I'm evil in soul as well as body "

Caelianna glances at Vinnie

Stylixxt eyes grow wide in astonishment as he examines rand closely

Toryn: " If you led me along that means I've been here in body but not in spirit ... " mutters Toryn

Vinnie: "but baby... Vinnie can put more magic on you!' Vinnie pleads to Caelianna

Kyra looks troubled at hearing this

Caelianna growls at Vinnie

Sunfall: Do not worry Toryn, you're about as evil as a fluffy bunny

Caelianna: No, I can put some magic on you and oh, I guarentee it will be hot. Crackling hot.

Stylixxt: rand is this new plucking at freshly grown tufts of hair over what was previously bare skin

Rand starts to grow tuffs of hair as Sunfall says the words fluffy bunny

Rand starts to grow longer teeth and ears too

Toryn: " Innoruk - the Prince of Hate, creator of the dark elves " Toryn explains to Caelinna then gives Rand a shocked look " The curse is getting worse "

Stylixxt starts to itch watching rands condition seemingly worsen

Toryn: Toryn puts one hand over his clawed eyes " Well that's two of us now ... "

Rand slowly but steadily changes into wat seems to be a fluffy bunny, but then 6'1" tall

Toryn: Toryn eyes Rouge " THIS is why your friend was killed... you see ? He's not himself " Toryn gestures at Rand

Rouge takes a few steps back and gets his bow out



Toryn: Toryn steps in between Kyra and Rand placing himself in arrow range

Vinnie grins at Caelianna,' sweetie, love of my life, rose in the desert of my life. Thou are the star in my clouded sky... and i don't need magic to get it hot with u"

Toryn: " We need to stop him without kiling him - assuming he even attacks , he's just standing there so far "

Rand looks around bewildered, snarling left and right

Stylixxt sits down switching spells hoping they wont be needed

Sunfall: We should push him to the far side of the room, I can web him before he causes any destruction

Rouge: Be that as it may, I'm not taking any chances...

Sunfall: Quickly toryn!

Sunfall keeps his distance in fear of becoming another werebunny

Rand snarls, not fully transformed yet

Toryn: " And for Marr's sake start showing the Princess of Thorns some respect for her station ! " Toryn bellows at Vinnie in his demonic voice before starting to push Rand

Caelianna: Toryn! Now is hardly the time!

Stylixxt: in contrast to all hte chaos happening around him sty turns to toryn and says simply without expression "its good to have you back"

Toryn (Toryn): bull rush attempt

Bobby (Sunfall): nice =D

Vincent (Rand): good roll Toryn

Toryn (Toryn): sorry that was a charge attack so another +2 to the attack roll but -2 on AC

Toryn (Toryn): Rand gets a free attack of opportunity on me

In a great show of strength Toryn is able to pin him up against the wall.

Rand looks around even more bewildered then before while the last patches of skin become covered in fur

Toryn: " Web ! " bellows Toryn at Sunfall moving away

Vinnie mumbles to himself,'princess of thorns can have my thorn if she likes... damn ugly dude'

Rouge: does Kyra have the skill to go for unconsciousness instead of a kill?

Stylixxt casts a slow spell at the transforming rand

Toryn (Toryn): if given enough time Toryn tries to move out of range of the web spell before it's cast evil GM

Vinnie looks at Rand,' we having bunny for dinner??? niceeeeeeeee!'

The web lands over Rand and his actions become slower than normal just as he becomes a giant man bunny with big, pointy, teeth

Rand starts fighting the web, looking hungrily at the group

Toryn: " The rabbit ... " whispers Toryn ... looking around at the others Toryn explains " You're not going to believe this but there was some sort of ... demonic rabbit..... that bit him earlier ... we narrowly defeated the creature - the rabbit that is ... "

Vincent (Rand): claw attack, sorry

Rand attempts to claw Rouge but the claws glance harmlessly off Rouge's leather armor.

Vinnie: Rouge...give me a use rope check please.

Rouge loops the rope over Rand's fluffy bunny body loosly.

Kyra looks worried, but holds

Rand: Strength [1d20+2 = 14]

Toryn (Toryn): sorry - that's correct Toryn holds his action

Rand: Claw Attack -5 for web and -2 for slow [1d20+2 = 9]

Bobby (Sunfall): Umm.. I hold action

Vinnie looks like he wants to dig into the rabbit.

Kyra casts an angry glance at Sunfall

Stylixxt: casts a spell mighty spirits if it is within your domain dispell the curse upon thee (cast cure disease)

Toryn: Toryn perks up and looks hopefully first at the lizard-man then Rand...

Rouge ties down the rope further and backs away

Rouge manages to securely loop the rope around Rand several times and tie the knots, several of them in different places, tightly.

Toryn: " Well done - thank you for your patience " Toryn grates in his demonic voice looking at Rouge, then Kyra .... " And YOU - stop looking at him like he's a side of mutton ! " Toryn snaps at Vinnie

Kyra looks relieved, and hugs Rouge tightly

Caelianna: I've heard the same tales, I didn't think they were true...I've never seen such a creature before.

Caelianna: So what are we going to do with him?

Sunfall: Leaving him there and hoping he doesn't eat, doesn't quite sound like a proper plan, does it?

Toryn (Toryn): official EQ rules are different - page 379 EQ Player's Handbook attack roll against AC 5 with a +4 bonus on attack roll for object being stationary, possible AC bonus due to size (see table 12-2 page 366 ) - I'm guessing AC 6 with a +4 on attack roll, 4 hit points

Toryn (Toryn): to break

Caelianna pulls out a small object from her pack.

Caelianna: Once we determine the watch order, whomever is on watch can hold onto this hour glass.

Toryn: " So we take turns keeping watch - we can hardly expect sunfall to stay up all night - and we wake sunfall if it looks like the web is about to break " announces Toryn " Sound good ? " he asks looking around

-> Stylixxt: Rouge tied the rope in such a way that Rand's still humanish neck can't bend down to bite at the ropes.

Caelianna holds up the hour glass.

Kyra nods

Caelianna: When this is about to run out whomever is on watch can wake Sunfall up.

Sunfall: I can agree to not beeing eaten by the killer bunny

Toryn: " You should get a full night's sleep Rouge no need to take a watch, you've worked pretty hard " comments Toryn looking at him

Rouge nods gratefully, and hits his bunk

Toryn: " Our thanks your graciousness " rasps Toryn bowing to Caelinna

Stylixxt: good those ropes are secure , i dont think he has any chance of getting out of there ...nods to rouge appreciatively

Toryn: Toryn eyes Kyra carefully and asks " Would you mind taking a watch ? "

Kyra: I'll take 1st watch, if nobody minds

Toryn: " You should get a full night's rest so you can come up with more insults tomorrow - the fact that I don't trust you not to eat our friend has absolutely nothing to do with it " adds Toryn firmly looking at Vinnie

Sunfall nods to Kyra and finds a nice place to get his eyes shut until he's awakened

Toryn: " I'll take second watch, Sunfall third, and Stylixxt fourth if that's acceptable to everyone ? "

Vinnie: What? Ya don't trust me Mr. Red?

Kyra takes the hourglass and makes herself comfy next to Rouge

Toryn: " You keep threatening to eat the priest - a PRIEST !!!! No I don't trust you ! " roars Toryn

Vinnie: He sure doesn't look like a priest right now Mr. Red.

Stylixxt: cael perhaps you could go and check on ole bessy all this commotion iss probably making her a bit nervous

Caelianna nods to Stylixxt

Caelianna (seriously): You're right, I probably should.

Toryn: " You're not eating him and that's final - try it and I'll find some way of dragging you with me to meet the PRince of Hate next time I visit his realm" threatens Toryn

Caelianna walks over and lets herself into the cow's stall and starts talking to her and petting her soothingly.

Toryn: " Gods I miss Ro ! " groans Toryn rubbing his eyes with his clawed hands

Toryn (Toryn): :P

Vinnie: Fine, fine, if ya feel so strongly about it.

Jason (Stylixxt): has rand developed into a feral state?

Vinnie goes and finds a nice straw pile and lays down for the night.

Rand is snapping and growling, much like an unhappy bunny would.

IJdo (Kyra): how long on the hourglass?

Caelianna comes out of the stall and lays down in the straw herself.

Stylixxt: perhaps we should put a bag over his head ...sometimes the darkness can calm a wild animal? is that so ...looking around at the group questioningly

Toryn: " However Rouge has made his intentions towards Rand clear in the past - Rand murdered, by accident, one of Rouge's friends - the palace guard "

Stylixxt: SO snaps stylixxt angrilt at the paladin

Toryn: " I don't think it's best we leave him and Rand alone - especially not when Rand's vunerable like this "

Toryn: " All right the sight has been wrong before, I admit it " says Toryn looking at the lizard man

Toryn: " But I still don't think it's best we leave Rouge and Rand alone together - agreed ?

Stylixxt looks from toryn to rouge back to toryn... you make sense if i held a grudge it would be the opportune moment

Rouge sneezes

Sunfall: For a time. We should find a way to still these... transformations Rand seems to go through

Sunfall: We can't protect him forever when he's a danger to everyone around him

Toryn: " Agreed - I'm glad to see we all feel the same way - hopefully our new dark elf doesn't follow through on the eating Rand bit " says Toryn looking at Vinnie's slumbering form suspiciously

Toryn: " He's a poor substitute for Aikira "

GM: Toryn, give me a sneak roll....no penalty on it.

Toryn: " And I'm hoping if what the others say is true we'll only have to worry about Rand's transformations on the full moon "

Toryn: " But agreed as well, we definitely have to find a cure for our poor friend "

Stylixxt: he is more bark than bite looking to vinnie he has done nothink aggressive towards any of us except leer after ....point to cael

Toryn: " I suppose ... " mutters Toryn looking at Vinnie " I just don't like the way he treats royalty "

Kyra looks in the direction of Toryn and gang and frowns

Toryn: " Anyways I've kept you up long enough - both of you get some sleep ! And sunfall for what my humble opinion is worth excellent job - that's probably the thousand and first time you've saved all our lives "

Stylixxt: let me ask you a question she is an adventurer yes??? do you think she likes being treated like royalty outside here in her adventuring gear me thinks not

Toryn: Toryn tries to smile at Sunfall - of course it looks like a frightening demonic leer

Toryn (Toryn): :P

Sunfall: Yes, well, without backup I would have been bunny food, certainly. Now, to get some sleep

Toryn: " But... but.. she's royalty ! " stammers Toryn

Sunfall bows from Toryn's twisted figure and finds his way back to the loft

Stylixxt nods goodnight to sunfall and toryn and finds a quiet place up in the hayloft

GM: 11:30PM

Evil GM: 11pm

IJdo (Kyra): and who took 2nd watch?

GM: it's ok...going to fast track through it...

The night passes without anything more eventful. Rand doesn't seem to sleep, instead he makes angry bunny noises and continues fighting the rope. Each hour the person on watch wakes Sunfall up to recast the web.

Finally, the sunrise starts in the early hours of dawn.

5am

Jason (Stylixxt): afk couple mins better half just in from work

GM: who was the last person on watch??

Toryn (Toryn): Sunfall I think ;)

Toryn (Toryn): since Stylixxt is away right now ;)

Rand: Will save [1d20+9 = 21]

-> Sunfall: as the sun starts rising on the horizon, you notice the fur, ears, claws, and teeth start receeding.

Rand slowly changes back to a normal human being

Everyone but sunfall is still asleep, of course.

Sunfall checks to see if Rand is aware of him

Rand: "Oooohh... my head, my skin, everything hurts

Rand: "And why am i wrapped up like this?" Rand asks, "What happened?"

Sunfall: You think you have it bad, imagine what my night was like.

Kyra: do I need to roll to wake up from them talking

Sunfall: First you were saying 'Oh scratch me'! next you were getting furry, next you had fangs, then you were very furry, very angry, and very ugly. We had to keep you busy somehow

Rouge wakes up from Sunfall and Rand talking

Rouge: Oh, so you're back to normal again?

-> Kyra: Con roll

Sunfall: Swell knots Rouge, they held all night

Rouge: constitution [1d20 = 14]

-> Rouge: kyra is still asleep, rouge wakes since he's had a full night of rest

Rand: "Furry, fangs, angry?" Rand asks confused

The griffon swoops down and attempts to claw at Rand on his horse.

Rand now hides well under the horse, knowing he can't do anything against a creature up in the air

In a flurry of strikes with her fists and a kick Kyra manages to land at least one blow to the Griffon.

Rand swings at the griffon and it barely glances his tough feathers, doing no damage.

Caelianna backs her horse away and stays out of combat to conserve her mana.

The griffon swoops up into the air and dives at Toryn, a yummy looking treat.

As it swoops down, it manages to catch Toryn's flesh.

In another quick flurry of fists, Kyra manages to hit the griffon again.

The Griffon screams again as it burns (and the air starts smelling a tad like chicken)
