Okies, last week the group finally made it into the plains of Karana, starting at the western side. Before going though the pass, they managed to pick up a meat head monk.

Caelianna senses something's out of wack in the Karana's but not what. They travel towards the area where the winged horses usually migrate to, but are beat up by a griffon who kills and takes part of Toryn's horse for a meal
Cael suggested going to a farm that's a day and a half away to see if they can get more horses or at least information.
Toryn (Toryn): damn griffon , I'll get you yet ! (man this is beginning to sound like a cartoon :P )
Stylixxt: the battle against the mighty griffon has left me spitually drained we musst ressst a moment

The fall sun beats down on the group as they sit or stand around waiting for Stylixxt to meditate. An hour and a half passes without another creature to be seen.
Stylixxt stands up stretching to circulate the blood greedily eyeing the monk playing with the feather

Rand wanders for a few minutes before noticing a nice big boulder, channeling his anger into the attempt, he grabs it and tries to lift it

Stylixxt: sigh.... maybe some other tiime when he forgets about it i think stylixxt says to himself

Caelianna sighs and looks up at the sun.
Caelianna: We need to start moving soon or we'll arrive at the farm tomorrow night instead of tomorrow afternoon.
Stylixxt: as we are a beast of burden down i prefer to walk if you dont mind rand
Rand: "I give up, it's like talking to that rock i threw, it's just 15 times bigger" Rand says while walking to his horse to load it up with Toryn and Collin their gear as well as his and Stylixxt
Stylixxt looks expectantly at the road ready to set off
Toryn: " Might as well let him walk I am too " sighs Toryn " what's a knight without his horse ? "

Toryn: Toryn heads off in the direction Caelinna indicated earlier
Rand: "We will load up all our gear and weight on the horse while the four of us will walk

Caelianna takes the bridle off her mount and says something in elvish to it. The horse tosses it's head, almost as if in answer.
Stylixxt rolls his eyes hopefully this not gonna be a long one
Caelianna: I'll walk as well, easier to find signs or tracks than on a horse.

Caelianna: Last time I was through here was two years ago, so I suppose someone could have built a farm. Either way, we need to proceed with caution. We don't need anymore mishaps in the same day.

Stylixxt chuckles at the scarecrow then feeels the terror welling up with in and springs away in fear of losing his soul

Caelianna turns her head watching her groupmates run away and sighs.

Rand comes back after exploring the outside of the farm himself and joins his friends, still winded from the fight
