Rand's rage gets the better of him in Qeynos at the Warriors Guild...

You wake up in the morning after the first bits of sunlight stream through the window. Ro never returned, Toryn and Aikira are gone. Cael and Sunfall are sleeping soundly in their bunks.

Rand: Rand gets up, fighting the hangover from the drinking bash with Aikira, and walks down the city of Qeynos. At first he is wandering aimlessly, but after an hour he realises that something in his life has to change, something drastic. He sees signs towards the warriors guild and decides to see if he is ready for this

Rand: When he enters the warriors guild hall, he looks for the man who seems to be the one recruiting young men and women to join their ranks. He walks over to him

The hall is actually quite empty except for a man, mid 20's, leaning against a wall looking bored.

Rand: Rand walks up to the man and bluntly asks who is in charge of recruitment

Warrior: “Me”, the man says in a bored tone of voice

Rand: I would like to sign up for training and practise as a warrior

The man looks Rand over from head to toe and starts laughing. When he catches his breath he weezes, "Go back to your prayers father, this guild isn't for the likes of you."

Rand: Rand looks at the man, infuriated by his comments and thinks about beating the holly shit out of him

"Go father, I'm sure there are those that need your services on the street." Keeps laughing and turns his back to walk into the guild.

Rand: Rand can feel his control slipping and without concious thought loosens his mace and wields it

Ignores rand and continues walking away, laughing.

Rand: "I'll show you someone in need he grumbles in a low, almost death like voice" as he swings his mace at the warrior, clearly aiming for his head. Without a thought he adds extra strength to his body with yaulp in the process

Rand manages to hit the man in the back of the head with his mace. As his control slips farther and farther from his grasp, he doesn't realize he just beat an unarmed man...to death.
