You entered the cave and walked into an enterance room that isn't very large. Infront of you there is a huge door that seems to slide open. The walls are lined with extremely large bones.

Toryn: " Well if they're guarding it with something possibly magic there must be something imporant there - Aikira do you have any weapons besides the spear ? "

The symbol starts to glow. Softly at first, then stronger and stronger until it's a blinding golden light. Everyone can hear the door squeek open.

Toryn: Toryn stares at it in surprise .... " Much easier than breaking it down " Toryn comments

Evil GM: Eventually it fades, but it's pure darkness on the other side

There is a hallway that, in the torchlight, seems to be about 40ft wide and pretty narrow. (about 6 or 7 feet wide) There are several doors on eitherside of the hall and at the end.

Evil GM: Spot rolls

The door opens to reveal a small cell. Inside is an old, narrow bed that no longer holds a matress. Above the headboard of the bed is a shelf with the remains of a candle covered in dust.

Toryn: Toryn examines everything " Old - very old - bedroom in here " Toryn announces to the rest of the party

There's nothing particularly remarkable about the cell, except Toryn does notice, engraved on the headboard, the symbol of his order admist some other very old symbols

Toryn: " This bedroom used to belong to one of my order - another servant of Mithaniel Marr " Toryn announces to the party, looking at the cell with a certain amount of reverence

Bobbu (Sunfall): are these doors only opening for Toryn?

Toryn: He pats the symbol gently

Evil GM: Nope

Toryn: " Let's examine the other rooms " suggests Toryn

Toryn: Who then proceeds to follow his own advice, searching each area the doors open to

Toryn: " This is a mystery " murmurs Toryn " Doors that open at a touch, cells devoted to my order ... is this some fallen temple of Marr the gnolls have desecrated ? Or were they holding my fellow worshippers prisoner here ? "

As the group searches each of the room (speeding it up for the sake of not boring people with a room by room search)..

The same scenerio pops up. Each cell has an empty bunk with a shelf on the wall. Each headboard is carved with the symbol of the Knights of Truth...except for one cell

Evil GM: This next bit refers to the cell I marked with a black squggle thing...

Inside this cell is the skeletal remains of some poor person. There is no armor, there is no clothing on the skeleton. It is sitting on the floor, with it's back up against the wall. In it's bony lap is a huge tome.

Toryn: Toryn eyes the tome

Toryn: Knowledge, Religion [1d20+4 = 20]

Evil GM: You don't see anything particularly "religious" about the tome. There are no symbols on it. It's plain and quite large.

Toryn: " Rand, Sunfall .... anything magical about this ? " Toryn asks, pointing at the book ... " Can you read it ? "

Sunfall takes the tome and thumbs through it

Rand comes walking into the cell and looks over Sunfalls shoulder
